Operation Effects of Wet Electrostatic Demisters for Flue Gas from Bagasse Boilers in Yunnan Sugar Factories
The boiler fuel in a sugarcane sugar factory generally uses the bagasse produced in the sugar - making process, which is a type of biomass boiler. Bagasse is a bio - fuel with high moisture content, high volatile matter, low calorific value, low nitrogen content, and low sulfur content. Generally, chain - grate boilers are used. The combustion mechanism of bagasse involves both suspension combustion and layer combustion, with a large air supply, so the flue gas generation is also large, and the flue gas has high oxygen content and high humidity.
The wet electrostatic precipitator developed and manufactured by Hebei Weimei can solve this problem. The above figure shows the operation case of the second biomass boiler electrostatic demister in a Yunnan sugar factory of our company. The dust concentration at the inlet of the wet electrostatic precipitator is 150 mg/m³, and the dust concentration at the outlet is ≤ 25 mg. It has currently passed the acceptance inspection of the local environmental protection department.
